We keep your website’s CMS, plugins, themes, and other software up to date. Updates are checked rather than blindly applied — because sometimes an update can break something.

Backups

Your website is backed up regularly so there’s a recovery point if something goes wrong.

Security Checks

We monitor your website for common security problems and make sure critical software isn’t unnecessarily left outdated.

Uptime Monitoring

If your website goes down, we’d rather know about it before you do. Uptime monitoring helps detect availability problems quickly.

Basic Performance Checks

We keep an eye out for obvious performance issues that could make your website slower or affect the user experience.

Minor Technical Fixes

Small issues that come up during routine maintenance are handled as part of your package. Larger development tasks or more involved fixes can be quoted separately.

Website Health Review

We periodically check the overall health of your website and look for things that may need attention before they turn into bigger problems.

You have someone to contact when something isn’t working as expected. No need to spend hours searching forums or trying to figure out whether a plugin update broke your website.

The exact amount of monitoring, support, content work, and development time depends on the package you choose. The goal is the same with every package: keep your website working properly and prevent small problems from becoming expensive ones.

Which Package Is Right for You?

Choose Basic if:

• Your website is relatively simple, doesn’t change often, and you mainly want someone to keep it updated and protected.

Choose Standard if:

• Your website is important to your business and you want regular maintenance plus help with small issues and improvements.

Choose Advanced if:

• Your website is a significant part of your business and you want an ongoing technical partner rather than someone who only performs routine updates.

Don’t Need a Monthly Package?

Not every business needs a subscription. If you only need a one-time fix, website update, performance audit, security check, or other technical work, you don’t necessarily need a monthly maintenance package.

What Happens After You Sign Up?

1. I (Andrew) review your website
   We check your website, hosting, CMS, plugins, integrations, backups, security, and current issues.

2. We fix the obvious problems
   Before ongoing maintenance begins, we identify anything that needs attention.

3. We take care of the routine work
   Updates, monitoring, backups, troubleshooting and agreed improvements are handled on an ongoing basis.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I cancel my maintenance package?

Sure! You can cancel it anytime. There are no long-term contracts.

What happens if my website goes down?

Let’s be honest: shit happens. My mission is to minimize that risk as much as possible. If (if) your website does go down, I’ll receive an instant automated notification and start working on getting it back up and running as soon as possible.

Are content updates included?

Content updates are included in the Standard and Advanced packages. Small routine changes are covered by the package. Larger content changes or more extensive work can be discussed separately.

Are development hours included?

Development time is included in the Advanced package. If you need development work but have a different maintenance package, that’s not a problem - we can simply discuss the work separately.

Do you maintain WordPress websites?

Sure. Shopify is one of my priorities, so let’s talk about what you need.

Can you fix problems that existed before I signed up?

Of course. If you’re on the Advanced package, existing problems can be included as part of the maintenance service, depending on their complexity. For the Basic and Standard packages, we can discuss the existing issues separately before you sign up.
