$22k/mo passive income with 5 minutes of work per day. Would you pay $797,000 for it?
About two years ago, I met a guy who offered to buy his Telegram channel for $800. And I made $800.
I came across one of the most curious Flippa listings I’ve seen so far.

Claim:
- $22k MRR
- 60% margins
- ~$22,362 monthly profit
- “5 minutes per day on autopilot”
- Asking price: $797,264.
Let’s zoom in.
Revenue Pattern Flippa chart shows:
- Aug: $35,090
- Sep: $34,800
- Oct: $35,090
- Nov: $35,090
Almost identical numbers. Two spikes earlier in May and June.
Real businesses fluctuate. Ads fluctuate, clients fluctuate. Seasonality exists.
Perfect symmetry in revenue is… unusual.
The Website It’s a long landing page with a button leading to a quiz and some basic info, and a Stripe payment link. The info is so vague, with no concrete details, that it looks like it’s just an HTML template.
No:
- Company info
- Real team
- Legal entity details
- Verifiable case studies
No pictures. Unfortunately, I can’t add more images on Linkedin, but I’ll prepare a more detailed review on my blog.
Images of the booking calendar look cut and fakey.
The “Trust” section is just an image. Even the statistics section (“Files completed”, “Leads generated”) is not text. You can’t even select the numbers.
That’s a red flag.
Social Proof Surprisingly, there’s:
- A Facebook page (2k followers, inactive since Feb 2023)
- A LinkedIn page (21 followers) If those are on sale too - that’s great, but still not for $700k.
Remember, I started this post with the Telegram channel story? I didn’t buy it, because it looked suspicious to me. In a week, that guy disappeared with the channel. Sometimes not investing is the best ROI.
The Resume Risk: 100/10. Always check numbers and the actual asset.
A quick niche breakdown: The niche itself is very promising. It’s proven, competitive, and highly monetizable. Niche: 5/5 Business model: 5/5 Costs: 3/5 (ads will eat capital) Competition risk: 1/5 (because demand is validated)
The model works.
But you don’t need to buy a vague HTML page for $797,000 to run it.
I definitely wouldn’t buy it. Would you?
